Welcome to the Deer Habitat

The white tailed deer has close ties to humans and therefore plays a vital role in our economy. Many people enjoy eating deer meat, also known as venison, which makes this mammal is the most hunted animal during hunting seasons. Although humans enjoy white-tailed deer for sport and for a food source, it also is considered a pest because of the devastation it can cause to crops and to cars.
